Had a robot deliver pizza to me today.

So full from the weekend.

Got a microplane at IKEA yesterday. Time to shred.

Went to the local coffee shop called OB. They serve coffee in vases and tea in fishbowls.

Took a proper day off today. Just made food, listened to some tech podcasts, and zoned out. Felt good. Holidays are always strange for me. I work for a place in the US but am physically in Japan. When I am off in the US, my friends here are working and vice-versa.

Took walk to find gymnasium where we are getting the vaccine on Wednesday. The streets and stores were eerily empty. Got home and figured out Japan is playing Mexico in Olympic soccer right now. Don't know if there is any connection but I'm just going to go with that. 139.796548°, 35.796377°

My mother-in-law got her first vaccine shot today. She said it was quick and painless. Having someone you know get a shot makes it seem nearer then before.

They also announced two large vaccine shot centers in Tokyo and Osaka being ready to go. It looks like things are starting to move quicker here.
