きっと = surely I always forget how to say "surely" in Japanese.

Going out to see off a couple friends from Spain. They are heading home after a long, busy trip in Japan. Hopefully get some karaoke in tonight.

Yesterday was gnarly but today wasn't. We're leaving on a weekend trip tomorrow so I think it might be the time pressure from that that gave me a boost. I notice that boost on rehearsal days as well.

Got to hangout with someone who is just starting his journey into music. Fun to hear about the differences and samenesses about doing a starting a music project at 20 years old in 2022 vs. when I started in 1990.

Went to ShimoKitazawa to rehearse today. It's super hot out so everyone is kinda moving slow, sweating a lot, and there was a lot of people with hand fans. It's "type about how hot it is" hot outside right now.

Took a rare trip to Odiaba today to hang out with friends and check out the ocean at sunset. We always used to bring guests there when they visited Japan but stopped going because it's a bit more work to get there. There's an extra transfer that makes less of a choice than other areas. It's a lot more built up now which Ives told was because of the olympics. Got to see the giant life-sized Gundam finally. Pretty cool in real life.

Every thing was soaked outside today after the storm that rolled through. Super cool out too which was awesome after the heatwave the last couple weeks. ## Today's Word - 水分 = liquid
