Deleted a super long list of "music artists to check out" so that I don't feel like listening to music is a task.

Listened to side two of our test pressing today. No errors on it so we told the factory it's good to start pressing the album.

A solid rehearsal today. Getting ready for our show on 06/02 in Koshigaya. Started in on a new song even.

Got to hangout with someone who is just starting his journey into music. Fun to hear about the differences and samenesses about doing a starting a music project at 20 years old in 2022 vs. when I started in 1990.

It's amazing how quickly the muscle memory comes back with some of the really old songs. We are getting a few songs from [this album](https://1000sofcats.bandcamp.com/album/-) ready for our show on 12/28.

A few run throughs and the started to feel really comfortable.

Two of the artists on today's music list are names I've heard my whole life. Yet, I've never heard a whole album by them before. Made me think of all the other artists I know the names of but have never actually listened to. Part of me knows you can't possibly listen to everything but it does make me think twice when I re-listen to something I've heard before. What should I listen to next is a choice between expanding horizons or diving deeper. Should you listen to something new or should you listen to something again and figure it out more.

Got to the end of the letter E today. Brian Eno's "Here Come the Warm Jets" always melts my mind. I try to not listen to this one too much too. Another one I don't want to wear the treads out on.

Virus numbers skyrocketing. Band rehearsal is cancelled tomorrow. ## Today's Word - 特に = especially - 密閉空間 = confined space

Of course I know what Duke Ellington sounds like but it had a lot more vibe to it that I thought it was going to have. I think it's the recording quality of that time that I dig.
